Frequently asked questions
What does Sango Sports Lab analyze?
Sango analyzes athlete movement from video, including form, balance, control, power, agility, stamina, body-region stress, and sport-specific training priorities.
How accurate is the analysis?
Sango uses computer-vision joint tracking (up to 33 body landmarks) plus sport-specific AI models, and it scores every clip the same way every time. That consistency is the point: the same movement gets the same read, so changes in your scores reflect changes in you — not a coach's mood or memory.
Are my videos private?
Yes. Your clips and reports are private to your account by default — nothing is public unless you explicitly share a report link, and shared reports never include the video. We don't sell your personal information or share your footage with third parties, and you can delete your data anytime.
Do I need special equipment?
No. One phone video of 2–60 seconds is all it takes — no sensors, wearables, markers, or lab visit. Film a rep, upload it, and the report is ready in under a minute.
Which sports does Sango Sports Lab support?
Sixteen sports today: soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, track, swimming, golf, boxing, MMA, wrestling, lacrosse, gymnastics, and yoga — each scored with sport-specific coaching focus, and new sports are added regularly.
Is Sango only for young athletes?
No — there's no age limit in either direction. Youth players and their parents use it for development and proof of progress, adult players use it for tennis, golf, and league sports, and older athletes use the balance scores and movement-load body-map to keep playing pain-free into their 60s and 70s.
Is there really a free way to try it?
Yes. Creating an account is free — no credit card needed to sign up and look around. When you start a paid plan it begins with a 7-day free trial: you add a card, but you're not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling anytime before then costs nothing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click from your billing settings — cancel during the free trial and you pay nothing at all. App Store subscriptions are managed through your Apple account.
Is there an app that can analyze my sports technique from a video?
Yes. Sango Sports Lab analyzes one 2–60 second phone video and returns an AI report in under 60 seconds: six scored metrics, a biomechanics body-map, and corrective drills. It covers 16 sports on iPhone and the web — no sensors or extra hardware needed.
How much does Sango Sports Lab cost?
The individual plan is $19.99/month or $199.99/year (about $16.67/month). Creating an account is free, and every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial — cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. Full details are on the pricing page.
Is Sango a Hudl alternative for individual athletes?
Yes — for individual athletes and parents, Sango is a Hudl alternative. Hudl is built for teams and game film; Sango scores one athlete's rep: film a single drill on your phone and get an AI report with a biomechanics body-map and drills in under 60 seconds — no team account or season package required.
Does Sango Sports Lab work on Android?
There's no Android app yet. The full web app runs in any modern browser, including on Android phones — film with your phone camera and upload at sangosportslab.com. The iOS app is on the App Store.
Can AI give feedback on a video of my kid's practice?
Yes. Film your kid's rep or drill on your phone and Sango returns a report-card-style breakdown in under 60 seconds: six scores, a body-map, and drills to practice next. Reports stay private to your account and track progress season over season.
