How to record a better sports analysis video
Keep the full body in frame
Place the phone far enough away that the athlete, floor contact, and complete movement stay visible. Use a stable support and avoid strong backlight.
Record one movement at a time
Focus on one shot, swing, serve, sprint, throw, skill, or short drill. Trim longer recordings to the clearest representative rep.
Use an angle that shows the skill
Side views often help with forward motion, swings, throws, and sprint starts. Front or rear views can help show balance, alignment, cutting, and landings.
Repeat the setup for progress checks
Use roughly the same position, distance, and lighting so score and movement comparisons are easier to interpret.
Supported sports and teams
Sango supports 16 sports on iPhone and web. Coaches can invite athletes, review available reports, and use consistent report language across a roster. Open the sport guides or contact the team.
